Kim Parkinson
Kim Parkinson grew up and still lives in the beautiful town of Huntsville in Ogden Valley. She still lives with the stories about her growing up being shared around the community. She loves the years of youth and all individuals who are youth. They hold a special and favorite spot in her heart.
In 1988 she married her husband Larel and started her homeschool journey teaching their 6 children across the street from her parents for the next 25 years. During that time she taught and served with the youth in many different capacities in education and the community. She seeks learning in everything and loves sharing everything she learns with teenagers, friends and her 13 adorable grandkids. She loves history, science, new books, new ideas, people and having fun.

8th Grade
Mrs. Parkinson is back! In a different capacity! Kim has homeschooled her 6 children, taught history and literature for us last and is now so excited to take on the role of the leadership mentor. She is oh so fun, has high expectations with a no nonsense demeanor. She connects with this age of student effortlessly and is a transformational mentor because she understands the bigger picture of growing and learning. Leadership will be covered through reading, discussing and reflecting a very candid, engaging way.
